2020 Senior Football Netball Update

To our Life Members, Members and Sponsors,

The Monbulk Senior Football Netball Club has decided to cancel all Senior Men’s Football for 2020. Over the last month AFL Outer East has presented many options for clubs to consider in regards to COVID 19 and safe practice around football. We at Monbulk feel there is a lot of work and responsibility in relation to crowd management, social distancing and service of food and beverage at this current time and have concluded that the safety of players, supporters and volunteers alike needs to be our main focus.

To all our players, coaches and staff, thank you for your tireless and sometimes stressful work in leaving no stone unturned while establishing what is best practice going forward. We will now fully support our U18/19s boys, women’s football and netball going forward.

Hopefully we will be able to run some functions as the season progresses to engage our members and sponsors. Please stay safe follow the government protocols and we will come out the other side of this healthy.
