Seniors
After a recent lean run against some flag contenders, the Hawks were desperate to get their season back on track. Another loss would put them into relegation contention while a win would put finals back on the agenda.
Monbulk were ferocious in their attack on the ball and constantly pressuring the Brooker’s which resulted in many turnovers. Inaccuracy prevented the Hawks from making it a complete rout as they dominated the second half but only had a return of 8.16 to 3 behinds for that period, notching a valuable 95 point win. Riley Finlay played his 50th match.
