Round 1 of Finals Report

Football
Seniors
The seniors qualified for finals for the second consecutive year and came up against Officer in the Elimination Final on Sunday at Woori Yallock. The Hawks started well by scoring the first two goals on the back of their trademark pressure football. Officer then steadied with some skillful running and possession play, which resulted in a series of nine successive goals to half time to effectively end the contest. Monbulk never gave up but the margin was too large to be able to make any inroads to.

ROC White gained an early break and held a 4 to 6 goal lead for most of the first three terms. The Hawks then put an all out attack in the final quarter and not only reeled in the deficit but established a 1 goal break before unfortunately conceding the last three goals to go down narrowly. The whole team deserve praise for the great season that they have had.
