Shane Van Seters 300 Games!

On the 9th of July we celebrated Shane Van Seters playing his 300th game for Monbulk Football Netball Club!

Shane first played with the Senior football club in 1999 when he started out in the Under 18s while still an Under 16s player.
His 300 open age games consist of 213 with the Seniors and 89 with the Reserves.
Shane also played 44 games with the U18s (giving him 343 Senior club games to date) and 33 with the Monbulk Junior Football Club between 1997 and 1999.
Horse was a member of the 2006 Division 1 senior premiership win over Upwey-Tecoma, in which he kicked the opening goal of the game.He captained the Reserves in 2018 and 2019, which included winning the inaugural AFL Outer East Division 1 Reserves Best & Fairest in 2019 (top left photo).

Back in my early days at the club it would have been my older cousin Josh Hellema and then being able to play with him for his last few years.

Winning the 06 premiership
Injuries you have faced throughout your playing career?
I’ve been pretty lucky and haven’t coped too many serious injuries
